I have been with A-Star Learning for three years, and those years have been amazing! I’ve had the best of tutor-mentors who have helped my understanding of Math and Science in a different way. For example, my Math tutor, Karla, explained “measurements” to me through baking.

I was having trouble understanding my school teacher, and when I asked her questions I usually ended up more confused. I thought that math was just not for me and I would never understand it. But after seeing the topics in a different way, and practicing with the resources I was provided I learned that I was fully capable of understanding math, and even started to enjoy it a little !

I was with A-Star Learning for 4 years from Grade 9 all the way to Grade 12. The amazing tutors that I had helped me to understand Math and Science in ways I could not have achieved on my own. I am glad I had them to coach me.
